Nanoindentation and Mechanical Properties

Nanoindentation enables the measurement instruments of Fischer's HM series to offer more than just traditional microhardness measurement. Instrumented indentation testing reveals numerous parameters such as the indentation hardness, the Martens hardness or the elastic modulus of indentation. But the great strength of the HM instruments lies in their ability to analyze fine coatings and surfaces in the micrometer and nanometer ranges. Then, with the high-performance WIN-HCU software, you can quickly evaluate and clearly present your measurement results. All testing devices measure and calculate material parameters according to DIN EN ISO 14577-1 and ASTM E 2546.
