Calibration facilities
Our calibration facility is ISO/IEC 17025 accredited by the Internationally Recognized Accreditation Body, ANAB which operates in the US and is recognized by NACLA and ILAC. All instruments calibrated will be certified with the relevant information including proof of the chain of traceability. For more information visit the ANAB website.
Our Laboratory regularly participate in Proficient Testing to maintain competency of personnel and accuracy of results.
Instech - Our History
Prior to Instech Calibration Services’ establishment, we have over twenty-one years of experience at Atlas Aircraft Corporation (Denel Aviation) in various departments and sections, where work was performed according to Rolls Royce specification.
Our company has been serving the industry since 1986 in various fields and demands. Being active in sales, service, repair, calibration, certification and installation on temperature, furnaces, ovens, cold rooms, humidity, pressure, mechanical, electronic instrumentation, etc.
In 1998 we started servicing Fischer Coating thickness and material testing equipment and became their sole agency in South Africa in 2003. Fischer is an innovative leader within marketing agencies strategically active around the globe.
A comprehensive range of products is offered, ranging from small basic hand held pocket type instruments, to advanced statistical instrumentation and then onto highly advanced fluorescence X-Ray machines.
As part of continuously improving our services, our facility became accredited on 25 September 2015, now offering calibrations to Internationally Recognized ISO/IEC 17025 standards. Following an assessment by L-A-B in June 2015, we officially obtained our laboratory number and became an accredited facility as of 25 September 2015. ANAB Accreditation is Internationally Recognized conforming to ISO/IEC 17025 standards.
